Alice in Wonderland

The premiere

30 / 05 / 2015
Description

The story of Alice, who falls through a magic mirror into a land of magic and spells, is known by every child. An inspiring story about the conflict between good and evil and true friendship moves even adult viewers, stimulates their imagination and takes them into enchanted days of childhood. The best way to create it on stage is dance, music with a rich composition using modern techniques and instruments, stylised after the one which we know from films, and fabulous, glamorous costumes and stage design. The most talented Polish artists of the young generation took care of the construction of the land from children's imagination.
This is the only ballet written on commission in recent years, with the participation of a full symphonic orchestra.

The story is based on Lewis Carroll's novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and inspired by Tim Burton's film Alice in Wonderland.
