The goal of the project is to increase the appeal and improve access to theatres on both sides of the Odra river in the supported area, both for residents and tourists. Easier access to common transborder heritage will be organised based on theatre offers without language barriers. Guests from the neighbouring country not knowing the language of the hosts, including children and youth, can count on greater appeal of the shows aiming at these target groups. For tourists and residents of the region there will be boosted access to transborder theatre offers. The project will contribute to boosting the awareness on the activities of theatres taking part in the project which create common transborder cultural offer.
Other elements of the project are creating institutionalised network for cooperation with common management, agreeing on theatre programmes and work of the staff and organising common productions and guest performances. Proper technical solutions, e.g. electronic boards presenting translations of dialogues and providing compatible technical systems will surely facilitate guest performances and co-productions. It is important to meet the expectations of the audience as regards modernity of staging both in theatres and summer theatres. Common marketing, including common brand name and logo and corporate design as well as a trilingual website will boost the value added of the results of the activities mentioned above.
