The premiere
"Orpheus in the Underworld" by Jacques Offenbach is one of the most famous and funniest operettas of all time.
In this crazy musical parody, everything is upside down and the story is different than in the myth original. There is intrigue, jokes, irony and a lot of comic, frivolous events, including the unforgettable "hell gallop" from Act II – the famous cancan.
In the production of Opera at the Castle the ancient world will be replaced by the world of media – television, film and Internet productions. The action will take place among actors, celebrities and pop culture stars. Olympus will become a big TV show, Earth will become a para-documentary series, Hell will become a low-budget horror film. The stage will be a film studio, and the audience will be an observer of the "live vision" displayed on the big screen...
