Sightseeing the Opera
The route may be changed depending on the work schedule of artistic groups and thus the availability of each space.
The opera in Szczecin is one of the most modern music theatres in Europe and the only one in Poland located in a historic castle. Thanks to that its interiors hide incredible stories and architectural titbits. We encourage you to take part in a guided tour of the Opera at the Castle.
The route leads from foyer, through O. Gallery with the restored renaissance ceiling located in the South Wing, historic foundations of the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle hidden in the cellars, the fireplace room, the main hall with a modern stage and an auditorium, the minor hall, the terrace overlooking the courtyard, ballet rehearsal room to the climax that definitely is the chamber in the Prison Tower with the oldest polychromy in the region. The stroll will be filled with interesting stories about the history of the castle and the life of the opera.

Sightseeing is possible from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Group size from 10 to 40 people.
