Joanna Tylkowska-Drożdż

Soprano

A graduate of Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Warsaw University. In 2004 she debuted in the part of Pamina in The Magic Flute in the Opera at the Castle in Szczecin. As a soloist she has created here many parts, e.g.: the part of Violetta (Traviata), Tatiana (Eugeniusz Oniegin), Rosalinde (The Revenge of the Bat), Lisa (The Land of Smiles), Marcelina (Fidelio). The artist has in her repertoire thirty opera and operetta leading roles. She is also interested in oratorias and cantatas as well as chamber music. A laureate of the Amber Ring. In 2018 she published a monograph Szczecin City Theater. An outline of history (1849–1944). She is the founder of the Pomeranian Interculture Network Foundation. In 2017 she was awarded the Silver Badge of Honor of the West Pomeranian Griffin. He works as a professor at the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
